We had a very nice room in this ex-synaggue, although our view was of some builder's rubble out the window.
This hotel was ideally placed within the city walls and very central to the main square and to the cathedral. We had a great rate so was value for money for us. The hard part was finding it, being in the old city there's practically nowhere to park. We were lucky to arrive on a quiet Sunday and find somewhere we could leave the car until early Monday morning. Wouldn't want to try to arrive in the middle of tourist season!!
Of course, the hotel can arrange parking if you want to pay extra for it. Our expectations were met, although it was a little hard that the receptionist in duty when we checked in spoke no English. Ok for check in, but not for directions that tourists want.
