The Neva Hotel was a perfect hotel for my 12 year old daughter and I for a 10 day visit to Paris. The location was ideal because we were very close to the Arc de Triomphe and its metro station. We were able to walk the two blocks to the station and explore every section of the city easily. And it was always fun to return to this section of the city at the end of the day because it was lively with lots of people around. Another advantage of the Neva is that it's in a quiet side street. They say the walls have been soundproofed and obviously it works (we were on the 5th floor) because our room was peaceful, no traffic sounds or noise from other rooms. The room was small and only somewhat of a problem for us because there wasn't quite enough space to unpack items in the closet. The bathroom was a good size with a tub/shower. Room was kept very clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good, well stocked and a very convenient way to start the day. If you expect a concierge to be helpful with recommendations, finding event tickets, etc. the Neva is not the place for you. Although the staff was courteous, they weren't helpful in finding information even when we had the listings of events in our hands and wanted to find out more about booking over the phone, etc. In every other regard, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Neva.
